hi ! Here’s some details about daily tasks, but also call me ! 8472090925
Opening. @11 (show up 1030ish)
All 3 light switches on the top row near speakers get turned on during the day. Clamp light on in bathroom, Dressing room light plugs in in the bathroom. Wifi is LMO pw: brutus14 , blue tooth speakers on & connect to desktop, shuffle playlist “344” on Apple Music . Open sign goes out , plastic kids chairs out on sidewalk , floor mat moves to sidewalk in front of door. Floor gets swept and walk through shop to make sure all things are looking cute.
“Looking cute” — knowling, schooshing(sp?), straightening , refilling inventory, wiping surfaces / sweeping up any messes that happen, this variety of things that keep things looking cute , hanging clothes consistently , like 3” between hangers, its a feeling thing that I am sure you understand, its nice to do a lil tidy after people leave so its fresh faced for the next one walking in.
“No Shoes on platform Plz” is not a hard rule, if someone wants to stand on the platform to try to sit on something , its okay, its more a sign so its not getting super dirty like the floor.
Hosting / Selling / Chatting : I think its all the same, we dont need to “try” to sell things , but we can just hang/share w people if they feel open/curious. We can talk with genuine enthusiasm about things , how they were made , etc. Many retail people I have spoken to say that the genuine energetic conversation is the most important thing, and luckily we have a lot to talk about with our projects/products, each one holds a story in itself , of who made it , how it was made , why . Obvi you are learning about the products so I dont expect you to know everything, but the more you know the easier it is to chat, so take some time to investigate :) All convo’s can point back to instigating future visits “we are always curating new books for the newsstand section “ or design appointments “ we could always make a custom piece for your space”.
People interested in furniture - tell them the basic info I am sharing below and that LMO has a long history of doing custom furniture and interiors , (we use this HQ as a design office during the week and they could come in for an appointment if they like)- and then offer to take their email and I can email them early in the week w more specifics. If you don’t know something you can say “Our owner Elise would know better, I could connect you if you like”
Fridays : Flowers in the vases & Plants get watered
Covid : masks a must, even w cdc guidelines , two hand sanitizers are available , and extra disposable masks are in the medicine cabinet in the bathroom.

Closing Up 6-630 : Put away Sign/chairs on top of floor mat under yellow mirrors. Sweep Mop general floor, tidy any last things so next day is easy morning. Leave front room light on only . Lock front and basement doors. Charge speakers. Leave any notes from day on desk or send in email (what sold, who wanted what contacts).
